Superior Grinding Pills With HRC 36-52 Hardness And Precise Chemical Composition For Grinding
Grinding pellets:
Also known as high manganese steel pellets, they are forged cylindrical products made by cutting high-manganese steel wire at high speeds.
They are then rounded with tapered edges and have no voids, cracks or risk of breakage.
They reduce in size gradually from large to small particles down to 30% original size, at which point they are removed by dust extraction/separation systems.
This allows them to be used until fully consumed over their entire service life cycle within shot blasting machines.
Grinding shot:
A new type of steel wire shot made by cutting steel wire into cylinders of equal length and diameter.
The edges and corners are then ground down to produce spherical ball bodies.
This gives the advantages of both cast steel shot and cut steel wire shot: an even polished surface, no damage to workpieces, low risk of breakage, high abrasion resistance and long service life through repeated use.
Grinding shot is currently the mainstream metal abrasive material for finishing automotive and motorcycle exterior parts due to these benefits.
Low-carbon steel shot has a bainite structure formed through isothermal transformation, giving it strong impact resistance and stable performance. High-carbon steel shot does not have this advantageous structure.
Low-carbon steel shot is manufactured from high-quality, low-carbon scrap steel without heat treatment, ensuring hardness. High-carbon steel shot may use lower quality steel and different manufacturing process.
Due to its microstructure, low-carbon steel shot has higher toughness and is less prone to fragmentation. It can undergo around 3,600 repeat cycles with over 20% lower consumption than high-carbon shot.
Low-carbon steel shot maintains its spherical shape better, allowing smoother blasting and less wear on equipment. High-carbon shot is more prone to fragmentation, increasing equipment wear by over 15% and requiring more downtime for maintenance.
Low-carbon shot reduces in size gradually and produces much less dust - at least 20% lower dust emissions than angular, abrasive high-carbon shot particles.

Metal Processing:
Grinding pellets are predominantly used to remove oxides, imperfections, welding residues and irregularities from metal surfaces. This yields smoother, more uniform surfaces for castings, forgings, steel, aluminum and stainless steel products etc.
Automotive:
The automotive sector extensively implements grinding pellets for post-treatment of parts like engines, bodies, wheels etc. This enhancesattributes like surface quality, refinement and contributes to performance.
Aerospace:
Grinding pellets play a critical role in aerospace by processing engine and airframecomponents to assure textures meet rigorous aeronautical standards, pertinent forfactors like friction resistance.
Electronics:
Used in electronics manufacturing, grinding pellets eliminate impurities and non-uniformities, bettering aesthetics and electroconductivity of devices and circuits.
Precision Engineering:
Grinding pellets find extensive application in precision machining of optical, timepiece and jewelry items by facilitating ultra-fine surface textures andmeasurements through controlled abrasion.
